Conchita Gusman

Board Member

Conchita Gusman is currently the Business Retention and Expansion Program Manager within the Economic Development Department at the City of Georgetown, where she helps businesses navigate challenges and opportunities and gain access to resources to support their growth in the city.

She works collaboratively with industry partners such as universities & technical colleges, the Georgetown Chamber, Georgetown Independent School District, Rural Capital Area Workforce Board, and Ft Cavazos Military Transition Assistance Program to build a workforce pipeline needed to meet labor demand. In addition to economic development, she has experience in human resources, college recruiting, culture change, public accounting, internal audit, and incentive and tax compliance across a variety of industries, including aviation, energy, gaming, and telecommunications.

Conchita’s local community engagement includes serving on the Georgetown Economic Development Advisory Board, Georgetown Promise Scholarship Committee, WILCo Aggie Moms Board, WILCo Economic Development Partnership, and WILCo Meals on Wheels.
