Dr. Fred Brent devoted 32 years to the field of public education, serving in a variety of leadership roles, including teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, and ultimately 17 years as a superintendent. His distinguished career concluded with a nine-year tenure as Superintendent of Schools for Georgetown Independent School District, where he was recognized for his commitment to student success, innovation, and organizational excellence.

Following his retirement from public education in 2023, Dr. Brent transitioned to the private sector, joining Sport Clips as Chief of Staff. In this capacity, he leveraged his extensive experience in educational leadership and systems management to support strategic initiatives and enhance organizational effectiveness. He currently serves as General Manager at Texas Traditions Roofing, where he continues to apply his leadership expertise in guiding company operations and fostering team development.

Dr. Brent holds a Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma City University, a Master of Education from Lamar University, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University.

He and his wife, Terri, reside in Georgetown, Texas, and they have three children: Austin, a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Finance, and Alex and Abby, both currently enrolled at Texas A&M University.
