Jeannie Sonnier

Jeannie Sonnier is a native Texan raised in Southeast Texas, graduating as valedictorian from Barbers Hill High School. She then graduated from Lee College and worked as an expeditor and purchasing agent for US Steel Corporation in Baytown and Houston for 10 years. The family moved to Georgetown in 1985, and Jeannie worked at a public accounting firm in Austin before starting Georgetown Tax & Bookkeeping Service, LLC in 1987. She is an Enrolled Agent, licensed by the Department of the Treasury. Her passion is helping taxpayers navigate and understand the confusing world of income tax and translating that into simple solutions.

Jeannie previously was a board member and Treasurer for the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center. She has been married to her husband, Craig, for 42 years. They have two sons, both of whom graduated from Georgetown High School; one went on to graduate from the University of Texas, while the other attended Texas A&M. Football season is not fun at their house.
