Karin Sladek is a Certified Public Accountant who spent 11 years working as an auditor for Deloitte and Maxwell Locke & Ritter. During her time in public accounting, Karin worked with companies of varying sizes and industries and enjoyed learning how different businesses operate and what made them successful.

She brings this breadth of knowledge to her work at Georgetown Health Foundation. After having a baby in 2020, Karin spent 2 years working as the Accounting Manager for Georgetown ISD, during which time she served on the board of directors for Georgetown Health Foundation. Karin enjoyed the people and the work of the Foundation so much that she joined the staff in 2023. Karin lives in Georgetown with her husband, Kelby, and son Emmett.
